Rhythm and process

What happens across the month.

Recurring content is not one big drop at month end. It is a routine, and this is the routine.

Start of the month

Calendar on the table

The month's plan arrives ready, with theme, format and date for each piece. You approve it or ask for a change right there, in the group.

Across the month

Production and publishing

Pieces come for approval before going live, instead of piling up into the last week. Anything urgent goes in outside the calendar, through the group.

When things change

Mid course adjustment

A promo that came up, a room that opened, an event that landed on the calendar. That does not wait for next month.

End of the month

Reading and next plan

What worked and what did not, and the next calendar comes out of that reading.

No fixed number of pieces.

The volume comes out of the diagnosis, not out of a price table. A ten room pousada and a beach club with a weekly event do not need the same number of posts, and selling both the same package means over delivering to one and under delivering to the other. The number goes into the proposal, after the diagnosis, and does not change mid contract without your word.

The channel comes out of the diagnosis too.

Instagram, LinkedIn or a blog. A pousada in Jericoacoara is probably Instagram only, because that is where the guest looks. A larger development may call for LinkedIn. A blog comes in when Google search is already a real front door.

The first 90 days are different from the rest.

Early on it is testing: format, timing, tone, type of piece. A lot goes live to find out what your audience answers to. After that the calendar gets more predictable and the effort moves from testing to doing more of what already works.

Day to day

A WhatsApp group with the people doing the work, not with an account manager.

The most common objection in this industry is "I hired an agency once and it did nothing". The story is almost always the same: they disappeared. The group is the answer to that. You talk to the people with their hands on it, the same day, with no ticket to open and no alignment meeting to wait for.

  • The social media person on your project, who produces and publishes
  • The paid traffic manager, who touches the campaign
  • The day to day: a promo that came up, a room that opened, an event that landed on the calendar
The term

Six months of contract, and up to twelve.

Brand and organic content take 90 to 180 days to turn into bookings consistently. A shorter contract measures nothing and wastes your money.

That is why the minimum is six months, and not because we want to lock anyone in. It is the time it takes to tell what worked from what was a coincidence. Contracts of up to twelve months exist for whoever wants to cross a whole season with the same team.

You are reading this here and not in the proposal on purpose. A term that only shows up at signing time reads like a trap.

How the result is read

One part is measured. The other you notice in your rate.

What we measure
  • 01Direct bookings
  • 02Conversations started
  • 03Cost per lead
What does not fit in a report

The brand starts holding your price. It does not turn into a chart, but it shows up in the nightly rate you can charge and in the guest who stops asking for a discount.

Follower growth does not count as a result. It is a symptom, and Explore does not sell vanity metrics.
